Sumita Kunashakaran (she / her / hers) is a motivational speaker on service design and inclusive leadership. Her work uses her unique blend of the Flavours of Inclusivity.

Born on the sunny island of Singapore and living in the beautiful city of Salzburg, her work transcends borders, connecting cultures and communities. She believes in the power of breaking silos.

Sumita began her career in aerospace engineering and moved into defence tech, but it was the people - not the machines - that caught her attention. The real power lay in those shaping the systems, not just building them. That sparked her shift to human-centred design.

Her publications range from disability-inclusive business strategies, to gender dynamics in the military, and offer insights on important social issues. But what she’s most proud of are her newly published books!

As the Chief Inclusion Officer at Inclusive Creation AS and Service Design Trainer with The JGA Group, Sumita also brings to the room her cross-cultural expertise. She has been instrumental in pioneering Singapore's first international award winning, disability-centric and body-positive sexuality programme, and has actively contributed to national reporting mechanisms on human rights at the United Nations.

And despite her global perspective, she firmly believes that pizzas taste way better with pineapples on them.
